Web quest is a great tool for teaching. Web quest is an inquiry-based learning activity developed by Bernie Dodge and Tom March in 1995. Web quest is perfect if you wish to guide your students to the available resources found in the internet. It has several parts: Introduction, Task, Process, Resources, Evaluation, and Conclusion. It may vary on the platforms or website used. In the Introduction, you may decide on the theme, like sending your students to a Quest where they can be an Adventurer, Hunter, or Challenger. This works best for my elementary students. On the Task Part, I usually indicate there their Mission. I often redirect them to several websites that I thought to be essential for my subject matter. On Process Part, I give instructions on what they will do on the things they went through in their mission. I may ask them to make a summary or pose questions based on the resources from their task.
